Dora Carofiglio mas conocida como Jessica Jay fue parte de un proyecto de los hermanos Lino y Pino Nicolosi, miembros del famoso grupo italiano "Novecento", que a principios de los años 90 comenzaron a crear un nueva idea musical en donde presentarian antiguos éxitos de varios artistas a través de los años y lanzarlos en un nuevo estilo dance. El primer modelo de sonido fue inspirado en la base musical de "All That She Wants" y "Happy Nation", temas de la banda sueca "Ace of Base" que poco antes había conquistado las listas de éxitos en América y Europa. Dans je suis victime et visionnaire. Pas encore voyeur. Avec les problèmes barnier est devenu une arme pour instaurer la peine de mort, au’il peut pas nié qu’il en a une et que sa mere une partie de lui, la tentation du voyeurisme n’est regulé que parce que j’ai été condamné a mort pour sacrilege et que je dois vivre particulièrement ce moment 1vec mon humanité puisque le sacrilege est question d’être inférieur à un culte.

I remember hearing this on Anchorman 2. Never listened to the lyrics until I stumbled across Leonid and Friends’ version. Which is awesome btw! But I decided to hear the original. Wow 😢 Have a pending divorce. Together 10yrs. She ended up having an affair & I left. Months went I put up a shield thinking I was all good but man these lyrics hit close to home. I don’t intend to get back with her but the thought of being alone scares me. But this song also does offer some hope as well. Won’t lie I’m seeing/dating someone special now. But there’s a part of me that’s scared of falling again. And getting hurt. We’ll see where that goes. Anyways sad rant over 😂 I have this song on repeat tonight! ❤❤❤

I'm facinated by the lyrics. They talk about Jamaican patois but really it's just English with different grammar. The only bit of the translation I would pull you up on (and I'm speaking as an English guy) is the line "sell I upon a dat thing there." That makes no sense and I believe what he's really singing is "sell I a pound of dat thing there" meaning a pound of pork.
